2023 Walkathon: Bennett Beach Party!

TOGETHER, WE CAN REACH OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL OF $400 PER STUDENT

The Bennett Beach Party Walkathon Event is Friday September 29th, during recesses and after school 3:30-5:30!

The walkathon is our biggest fundraiser of the year, helping support additional general school assistants, instructional support, curriculum enhancement, field trips, and more!

Students raise money for Bennett by collecting donations from family, friends, and neighbors for getting active and walking/jogging laps around the playground. Students and classes compete to see who can raise the most money and walk the most laps.

  • Donations Support Bennett

    100% of all donations goes directly towards programs for Bennett students and our community. Annually the PTSA pays approximately $400 per student to pay for extras that provided funding doesn’t cover.

  • Win Awesome Prizes

    All participants get an event t-shirt and participation ribbons for achieving lap counts.

    50+ Laps: A trip to the WATER SPRAY station and blast a staff member after school!

    75 & 100 Laps: Additional prizes and recognition at the awards assembly!

    Top fundraisers: special rewards for the kids who raise the most money may include an extra library book, principal for a day, or a personalized sweatshirt!

    Top fundraising classes: Prizes may include a pizza party, an extra recess, and more!

    If we meet our goal of exceeding $80,000, the whole school wins an after-school GLOW PARTY!

  • How to Collect Donations

    Ask your family, friends, and neighbors to help support our community.

    First, parents must enroll their child in the walkathon (ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE)

    Then, donations can be made on each student’s personal Walkathon fundraising page (see button below and search for your child’s name, once enrolled). Share this link with your community!

    Corporate matching - Don’t forget to submit for matching! Remember to reference “Richard Bennett Elementary PTSA”.

  • Volunteers Needed!

    This event is 100% volunteer-run and we need your help to make it happen. Can you give 30 minutes to one hour of your time during school hours or after school?

    During school hours, volunteers must be pre-cleared by BSD. If you're not sure of your status, email volunteer@bennettptsa.org.
